Kitchen Fire Suppression
Commercial Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems
Automatic fire suppression systems provide targeted protection for high-risk commercial cooking environments.
Hood & duct coverage
Why Suppression
Protection Designed Around the Cooking Line
A commercial cooking line concentrates heat, grease, cooking oils, and ventilation in one place. Fryers, ranges, and charbroilers run for hours, and grease-laden vapor is drawn up through the hood and duct above them.
A kitchen suppression system is built for exactly that risk. Nozzles are positioned over the appliances and inside the hood and duct, so a fire on the line is met where it starts rather than after it spreads.
- Covers the appliances, the hood plenum, and the exhaust duct
- Discharges a wet-chemical agent suited to cooking-oil fires
- Works automatically, without relying on someone reaching an extinguisher
System Capabilities
What a Kitchen Suppression System Does
-
Automatic Fire Detection & Suppression
Heat-sensing detection triggers the system and discharges the suppression agent over the protected appliances.
-
Hood & Duct Protection
Nozzles inside the hood plenum and exhaust duct address the grease-laden areas where fire can travel.
-
Automatic Gas & Electrical Shut-Off
On discharge, the system can cut fuel and power to the cooking equipment to help stop the fire from being fed.
-
Manual Emergency Pull Station
A clearly marked pull station lets staff activate the system by hand if a fire is spotted first.
Installation & Service
From New Installation to Routine Service
Whether you are fitting out a new line or keeping an existing system in serviceable condition, the work is compliance-focused and documented.
Suppression systems are expected to be inspected and serviced on a routine basis, and equipment changes on the line, such as a new fryer or a moved range, can affect coverage. We help keep the system matched to the kitchen it protects.
- New-system installation Design and installation for new kitchens, build-outs, and line changes.
- Existing-system servicing Service for systems already in place, including after an appliance change.
- Suppression system inspection Routine inspection of nozzles, detection, cylinders, and the pull station.
- Routine maintenance Replacement of links, seals, and components as part of scheduled service.
- Testing Function testing of detection, activation, and shut-off components.
